  This was my first major renovation project and I am extremely happy that I chose The Bath Shop. Since this was my first time, I went in not really knowing what to expect. I ended up having a great experience! I felt confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. The design team made my vision come true of having a separate tub and shower in a space-constrained master bath when other companies said it wasn't possible. All the teammates that came to do work were courteous, professional, and super knowledgeable about their craft.  The project manager was also great with communicating regularly with me.   We chose The Bath Shop for a complete renovation of our master bathroom and closet and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision!  We had a general idea of what we wanted, but needed help from professional designers.  Stephanie and Cinthya came through in a big way and gave us exactly what we needed throughout the entire design process.  They created multiple options for how we could make the best use of our space and were extremely open and honest about the pros and cons of each option.  The price range of each option was very clear which helped us keep an eye on our budget from the start.  After we chose the general layout, they recommended various tile and color combinations and, while all the combinations were gorgeous, one jumped out as a perfect fit.  We were super impressed with how they used rendering software to help us make decisions during the design process and give us realistic images of what the final product would look like so there were no surprises.

Chris and his team were extremely professional and did a fantastic job during the construction process.  Chris kept us informed about each day's activities and was quick to respond about any questions/concerns during construction and even after the job was done.  Philip did a great job with the plumbing and Danery was as thorough a painter as we've ever seen.  Not unexpectedly, during demolition some water seeped through and left a small stain on the first floor ceiling.  The Bath Shop didn't hesitate to repaint the entire first floor ceiling to not only repair the stain, but also ensure an even finish with no discoloration.  Overall, we are so glad we chose The Bath Shop for our project and couldn't be happier.  They will be our first choice for future projects!

  The  Bathshop did a great job overall. There were a few mistakes made, but the team was able to remedy them promptly, professionally and with our desires being met. The design team, project manager, and crew were great to work with. We renovated our kitchen, two and half baths, laundry room, and our stacked stone fireplace.   My husband and I went to the Bath Shop to do a kitchen remodel but subsequently updated 3 of our bathrooms as well.  We met Cinthya at our 3rd meeting and worked with her constantly throughout the entire project--she is absolutely wonderful!  She LISTENED to our preferences and gave us choices in our styles price range.  She met us at various businesses and guided us through choices and decisions.  Her meticulous research helped us match items for the kitchen and bathrooms, which all turned out beautifully.   Cinthya is totally patient and a pleasure to work with. I need to also recognize the other key players who made this kitchen possible:  Stephanie,  the Designer, whom we chose over 2 other designers, did an outstanding job; Chris, the Project Manager, who is incredible--a master craftsman and can do anything by way of installing a kitchen; then there is Adam whose carpentry skills and attention to detail are unmatched; Tim, Project Manager, who came on-board mid-project, had suggestions that made all the difference in the end product; and Danerri, the Painter, who can match any color and blend new paint into old like magic!

  I can’t say enough great things about my experience with The Bath Shop!!!  My husband wanted an upgrade to his office in our home.  We met with the design team and together, we came up with a sleek and modern office/bar area!  The team suggested newer trends in color schemes and we are in love with how it turned out!!!  He now has his own office space and a bar built in to make his drinks for himself and our guests!!  The design team was absolutely fantastic, the time line was exceptional, and the  workers that came into our home were friendly and respectful!  The work done was perfection!!!  They paid attention to detail and cut no corners!!!  Overall, this was a great experience.  The Bath Shop is friendly, affordable, consistent, and reliable!

The Bath Shop has taken the exhausting home improvement shopping experience out of the process by providing our kitchen and bathroom remodeling clients access to our exclusive Bath Shop Design Studio. Our design studio displays all of the products and materials needed to complete your design. This includes cabinets, hardware, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, mirrors, sinks, tile, custom shower glass, etc. All in a private studio environment curated by your assigned designer and design team. Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Process

Along with our talented team of professionals, The Bath Shop’s proprietary design driven process is the single greatest contribution to thousands of successfully completed kitchen and bathroom remodels over the past 10+ Years of serving the Raleigh, NC. Area.

Unlike the typical remodel contractor, The Bath Shop process brings together a design team to collaborate side-by-side with our Design Consultants to understand our client’s objectives and to partner with our clients through a process that ensures every detail of the project is addressed, budgets are established, and a complete installation package including drawings, material selections, and comprehensive estimate is prepared prior to our client acceptance of a contract to move forward with the project.

1. At Home Consultation

During this step, we visit your home bath or kitchen space to:

Discuss your needs, desires, and ideas for the space

Brainstorm layout options

Conduct inspection of the space and take necessary measurements

Determine project goals, scope, and budget

2. The Design Showroom

For Step Two, you come to us! You’ll get to see where we work and:

Visit our Design Showroom to view products and material option

Get to know The Bath Shop as a company and meet the employees who will be creating your new bathroom or kitchen

Discuss our budget proposal, going over each line item in detail

Meet with designers to start the selection process and to agree on project scope

Finalize the budget and provide a retainer for our services (typically 20% of the estimated project total)

3. Pre-Construction

Time to start preparing for the project at hand. During this phase, we both have responsibilities – you will:

Meet with our design team to begin the formal design process

Select materials & finalize your design

Prepare installation drawings and materials orders for approval

Execute the final contract with your Design Consultant

Work with you to set an agreed upon start date based on material deliveries

Obtain all required permits or engineering reports

4. Installation

Let’s roll up our sleeves! After we demo the bathroom or kitchen we move onto installation:

For bathrooms & those kitchens with structural changes - Begin the principal installation process, including:

For bathrooms:

Prep, install and grout tile Install vanities
Make templates for countertop and glass (Note: glass must be fabricated and is usually installed 2-3 weeks after template - turning a 2-3 week project into a 5-6 week project)
